My question is about the pictures which were taken last year of the entrance to Anchordown Ranch. I am trying to locate exactly which road this is on, so I can visit Anchordown Ranch (and the area) one day. The ranch was owned by my Grandmother Pre WW2 (looking at the history the family must have purchased it in 1937). I have my Uncle’s Diary (also John Dewar) which records how he loved the area and wildlife. Anyway in 1939 he enlisted in the RAF and was killed in 1941 and my grandmother died in an accident in 1942/43. Anyway I have visited Canada myself but not Calgary (Edmonton the closest) since my Dad enlisted in the RCAF in 1941 serving from Ottawa through to PEI.
